Some performance from Mayo in fairness, thought they'd do the job but i didn't see this coming. Can't wait for the two Semi's, it's going to be intense! Hill16Army (Dublin) - Posts: 88 - 07/08/2017 15:44:00 2030319 Link 0 |

Awesome display by Mayo. It looks like they are peaking at the right time. Be afraid Kerry! DannyMcA (Dublin) - Posts: 260 - 07/08/2017 15:48:05 2030330 Link 0 |
What an awful one-sided game, it really is not watchable unless your a "fan" everyone else had long disappeared by the end of the game - shocking stuff, couldn't care less who won makes no difference poor preparation for playing a team like Kerry. For Roscommon a good year for them but this beating is very troubling for this game. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4895 - 07/08/2017 15:52:52 2030338 Link 0 |
Congrats to Mayo very impressive they are a completely different team when they run at you. Bring that same level of intensity against Kerry and I give them every chance. jacktheDub (Dublin) - Posts: 944 - 07/08/2017 15:54:32 2030341 Link 0 |
Not at all. They are well worth their Connacht title. This a very good young Roscommon team and without many players in 2017 for different reasons. A bad day today but they'll definitely be back stronger.

Well that was a bit lopsided, feel bad for Roscommon, better team than today showed and Kevin McStay is a good manager. GaryMc82 (Derry) - Posts: 3017 - 07/08/2017 16:13:42 2030385 Link 1 |
Well done Mayo. Superb performance. We'll just have to take stock, get stronger, get few lads back and come back better next year. We'lk be cheering ye on against kerry Ros2013 (Roscommon) - Posts: 517 - 07/08/2017 16:30:08 2030412 Link 1 |

Saw the half time score, had a chuckle to myself and thought typical Mayo. They must drive their fans to drink. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 07/08/2017 16:36:31 2030422 Link 0 |
Mayo peaked today, they really need to peak against Kerry. There was no need for them to bang in the 3 or 4 goals. They should have kept at least 1 of them for Kerry. Anyway well done to them. This defeat will help Roscommon no end. It will show them the ruthlessness needed to compete. So Connacht abú galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2517 - 07/08/2017 16:49:33 2030433 Link 3 |
Well that was a terrible showing. All congrats to mayo and genuinely hope they do well against kerry but my god that was on the same level as a training session for them today. OverBlackSpot (Roscommon) - Posts: 47 - 07/08/2017 17:44:20 2030465 Link 1 |

Talk of our demise has been greatly exaggerated...super Mayo performance of power, pace and movement BUT one has to consider how bad Roscommon were too. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11227 - 07/08/2017 18:02:47 2030480 Link 1 |
