Congrats to Mayo, that's a serious statement on intent.

Some year they are having, what a year they are giving their fans, ups, downs success, failure and success.

Would be typical Mayo, to win it from here looseing in Connacht, drawing twice in the qualifiers and again in the quarterfinal all to get on a par with Dublin, Tyrone and Kerry.

You can never right them off and serious respect is due.

Some performance from Mayo in fairness, thought they'd do the job but i didn't see this coming. Can't wait for the two Semi's, it's going to be intense!

Very well done to Mayo.
Excellent performance and a 4-19 to 0-09 is a very impressive scoreline, especially as this was their 5th game in 6 weeks.

Hopefully Mayo can de-rail the Kerry lads but it is gonna take a super human effort.

As for Rossie's - a very harsh reality check today.

Top 4 make the semi's again and 2 great games in prospect now.

Awesome display by Mayo. It looks like they are peaking at the right time. Be afraid Kerry!

What an awful one-sided game, it really is not watchable unless your a "fan" everyone else had long disappeared by the end of the game - shocking stuff, couldn't care less who won makes no difference poor preparation for playing a team like Kerry. For Roscommon a good year for them but this beating is very troubling for this game.

Congrats to Mayo very impressive they are a completely different team when they run at you. Bring that same level of intensity against Kerry and I give them every chance.

Not at all. They are well worth their Connacht title. This a very good young Roscommon team and without many players in 2017 for different reasons. A bad day today but they'll definitely be back stronger.

Super performance

By far and away Mayos best performance of the year.

Exactly what was needed and they can now go in as underdogs against Kerry but with a bit more confidence to take the fight to them

I still think it'll be a Kerry win but Mayo are capable of causing an upset

Hard luck to Roscommon but you left the first game behind you

Well that was a bit lopsided, feel bad for Roscommon, better team than today showed and Kevin McStay is a good manager.

Great stuff from Mayo!

They got their foot on the Rossies' throat and never let up. A real statement of intent.

Roscommon were tactically inept though. People blaming the keeper on kick outs but he was hung out to dry by his team mates. No one was making themselves available to him until late in the day when the game was gone. It's hard to explain that because it's just a lack of effort. They also clearly had a tactic of trying to pump in long ball but it was aimless stuff in to a Ros player who was on his own and outnumbered 3 to 1. What was mad was that they persisted with it!

It's the perfect tonic for Mayo though who really clicked. They'll bring that confidence into the Kerry semi final and who knows what they'll do. Kerry haven't been in a game all summer but they'll get a serious rattle from Mayo. It's 50/50 for me.

Saw the half time score, had a chuckle to myself and thought typical Mayo. They must drive their fans to drink.

Watched the second half. Mayo looked ruthless for the first time since Donegal in 2013. I really hope they finally do it this year.

Mayo peaked today, they really need to peak against Kerry. There was no need for them to bang in the 3 or 4 goals. They should have kept at least 1 of them for Kerry. Anyway well done to them. This defeat will help Roscommon no end. It will show them the ruthlessness needed to compete. So Connacht abú

Well that was a terrible showing. All congrats to mayo and genuinely hope they do well against kerry but my god that was on the same level as a training session for them today.

Unfortunately think mcstay just over thought the replay by saving lads for later in game and we got beaten out the door very early on. Can only hope that sort of game didn't damage Mayo's chances against kerry

Talk of our demise has been greatly exaggerated...super Mayo performance of power, pace and movement BUT one has to consider how bad Roscommon were too.

From the off Mayo looked like they meant business and the young rossies just weren't able to cope. A harsh lesson.

Despite all our heartbreak I love this Mayo team . Time to forget today though as Kerry are looming...our old foes.
