'Meath made Kildare look better than the are'.
Nothing to do with the football Kildare played on the day?? I suppose if Biggie hadn't got that phantom injury it would have been a different game!

Best of luck to our boys today, with the 15 Dublin have picked and with our hunger and intensity, pace and youth, it should be closer than a lot of people think, up the Lilies, we've banished the royal demon now lets go after the big monster.

Dublin team named is interesting and there's certainly a feeling in the air that the door is open for Kildare.

I hope Kildare have a right cut at the Dubs and I hope the occasion does not get to them. Whilst they may be behind Dublin in terms of development and experience, they have a good up and coming team and sometimes you have to grasp the opportunity and just go for it as despite the young players coming along you may not get another chance.

Nothing against Dublin as if they win I will be hoping they can go all the way, but in this game I am hoping for a Kildare win.

Best of luck Kildare and most of all enjoy the day

Is philly McMahon injured? If not he has to come into the backline..thats still a very good Dublin team, they will win by 6 in the end..
Kildare have a big chance on kickouts, should be winning alot in the air..

Ulster final throws in at 2pm, RTE panel discussing Dublin and Kerry, anyone tell me I'm wrong in saying there is an anti Ulster bias in the southern media?

That isn't an anti Ulster bias.

It's more to do with rtes complete and utter obsession with Kerry and dublin being the be all and end all of the gaa.

Well if you send a message to your fellow ulsterman Brolly who is the one who keeps bringing Kerry up with the gooch in the studio, maybe he is feeling sorry for his harsh words towards him in the past.

Of the 4 beaten provincial finalists, the loser of this one is the one to avoid. Mayo, Armagh, Monaghan and Donegal will fancy their chances against Galway, Down or Cork.

Not sure if ref was playing advantage for some infringement but Kilkenny took about 10 steps to get that 2nd point.

Is it too early to say game over?

You can add munster hurling to that list. The amount of coverage given to the munster hurling final compared to the connacht football final a perfact example of that. Poor old kildare are going to get hammered

The draw for round 4 is partly predetermined, Kildare and Down can't draw Mayo or Donegal:

Mayo v Cork
Galway v Donegal
Down v Armagh or Monaghan
Kildare v Armagh or Monaghan

Kildare have gotten 2 of the harshest yellow cards I've even seen. Feely was grappling at the Dublin player alright, but at all times was genuinely trying to disposses him.
And the other was a shoulder to shoulder challenge, debatable it was even a free, but even allowing for that. Definitely no card.
