pp, dalglish an honest straight talker?! What interviews do you be watching? He is renowned as probably the most difficult interviewee in english football. He is either feigning some offence at the, frankly straightforward, line of questioning, or providing an answer that doesnt remotely resemble what was asked of him, which was again painfully straightforward. Maybe he thinks he is being smart but he comes across as foolish, shaken and incapable of the most simple of management tasks. A further downside is that when he has a real case to answer, like when suarez refused to shake hands with a man he admitted to racially abusing for instance, the interviewers he has been snubbing relentlessly wont be so quick to let him off the hook, as is what happened. The word incapable sums him up. His signings are incapable of performing, he is incapable of setting them up to play well, he is incapable in interviews, the guy just is totally incapable of the day to day tasks of managing a side.

Renowned by who? You? The only interview where I've seen him shaken is after that United game and he had the decency to apologise afterwards, not that he done anything wrong of course. I've a lot of time for Kenny, he tells it like he sees it

I wouldnt say dalglish is difficult to interview. He clearly does not want to do interviews after games and he doesnt hide that but he still co operates.Ian Holloway and Roy Hodgson (especially when they lose obviously)often make rude comments towards the interviewer after games.

I can see why you would like him pp, clearly you are as delusional as he is if you still think that Liverpool are the biggest club in England and he behaved with dignity during the Evra/Suarez affair.Birds of a feather and all that

Just when you think that the season couldn't get any worse, I wish this was the last day to be honest because all I can see is more humilation in the next few weeks. Thanks Kenny, you are and always will be a hero of mine, but its time to head back to the links golf course and the after dinner speaking circuit as you are not cut out for this any more.

Have that sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach, shocking stuff from the reds today. We now have our worst home record in a season since 1954. As much an all I love kenny, I honestly don't think he is cut out for management anymore. We get a odd result here and there (see cup runs) but simply aren't at the races.
Signings have been poor to say the least and even an FA cup wont cover up the depening problems on the field at anfield. We now have only won 2 games in hte league this year, thats relegation form in my books.
The owners in boston must be doing some thinking Id say.
Well done to wigan - another so called lesser team who come and play us off the park this season.

There's not a manager on this planet that could get the current Liverpool players to be contenders.
Dalglish needs to stop paying them their wages with immediate effect.
The club also needs to put all the players on a one third, two thirds wage payment agreement, one third basic pay with two thirds based on performance and results.
That way the players at the club will only get paid in full when their efforts produce the required and desired results for both club and supporters.

I hate the way when Liverpool get a bad result (more times than not this season) the place is crowded by muppets having a dig at Liverpool , Why ? Its not as if we are a big club anymore ? The only thing that we have is a great history and tradition. Fact is bar Skrtel, Suarez and Gerrard , Maybe Enrique too , Liverpool just dont have the players who have the ability to wear the jersey. We fully deserve to be in the hidious position that we find ourselves in. The league table doesnt lie. I know its a long road but even a liverpool team in tradition should not be losing against Wigan. Not just losing but getting outplayed too. Its shambolic.

Wayno I'dagree with your player choices , not convinced by Enrique yet but he's doing alright. No-one else is an obvious candidate for left back ahead of him. I think Martin Kelly is the future right back, still has a lot to learn. Agger is decent. Reina is decent but stll poor dealing with crosses in a crowded penalty area. I don't think Gerrard is gonna last past this season. Still shows touches of class but hasn't the legs any more and more and more injury prone. Lucas is also a big loss, Spearing is a poor replacement. Ironic that Suarez has hit some form when the teams form dips. How can Kuyt and Suarez be class together at the end of last season and now an inept Carroll gets the nod ahead of Kuyt who for my money is the heart and soul of Liverpool. I reckon Henry and the lads upstairs wanna see Carroll in the shop window, but their won't be too many customers visiting. Between themselves and Comolli their policy of paying stupid money for young British players has been disastrous. Anyways, still in with a chance of the Cup so no sense in sacking Keny before the end of the season, will end up wasting more money when they can get a better replacement after the Euros.

Round about this time last year deluded Pool fans were saying that if the league started on the 1st of January de Pool would be top, well guess what if the league had started on 1st January this year Pool would be bottom! Kenny must stay!

I agree with Red and Green. The scramble every year for young English 'talent' has become a tradition now, yet nobody seems to have grasped that you have to pay a premium for this 'talent', yet for the price of one Andy Carroll you could have at least 2 maybe even 3 skillful, talented and comfortable with the ball at their feet foreign players. Last summer was a watershed for this club, new manager, big signings, and truck load of optimism, yet on the opening game of the season against Sunderland you could see the entire season laid out in front of you, lots of endeavour, plenty of possession, take the lead and then demostrate a complete inability to finish off a game. Its the basics that are missing here, lauded midfielders, Henderson & Adam, that can't pass, wingers, Downing, that can't cross, and strikers, Carroll, that can't score. Like I say, its the basics!
