Andrews back in Dublin mix

Dublin's Paddy Andrews

Paddy Andrews has handed Dublin manager Jim Gavin a fitness boost ahead of Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final against Meath.

The St. Brigid's attacker is available for selection again after recovering from the back injury which ruled him out of April's Allianz League final against Kerry and the Leinster SFC opener against Laois earlier this month.

"He's got over his localised lower back injury now thankfully and getting plenty of rest," Gavin is quoted in The Herald.

"The medical team did a great job with him and when they felt he was ready to return to play, they got him back in."

Dublin will name their team tonight with Paul Flynn, Eoghan O'Gara, Michael Fitzsimons and Con O'Callaghan all pushing for inclusion. Flynn was a late withdrawal from the team that beat Laois after suffering a hamstring injury in the warm-up, but is thought to have returned to fitness.
