What a good weekend for Dublin Camogie! Pride of place this week must go to the Senior team who had their first championship win over Kilkenny for many a year. They won a thrilling game by the narrowest of margins 0-17 to 2-10 after extra time to reach the quarter finals. Congratulations to the players and management team of Denis Murphy, Ann Colgan, Brian Lawlor and physio Declan Monaghan Best of luck as they take on Offaly on Saturday next at a Dublin venue - details TBC.

Congratulations to Arlene Cushen who has an outstanding game for the Dublin seniors wearing the no. 5 jersey against Kilkenny. She was awarded the Irish Daily Star Player of the Match as seen on the Sunday Game.

Dublin 16A team had a brilliant win 3-6 to 0-15 over old rivals Kilkenny in Athy to reach the All-Ireland final. Well done to players, Paul Beecher and his dedicated coaching team. They take on a very good Galway side in the final on Sunday. Venue and time TBC.

The Junior team saw off the serious challenge of Westmeath with a 3-7 to 1-10 win in the last of the group games. The Dublin Junior team is guaranteed a semi-final place in the All-Ireland Junior A championship. Well done to players and dedicated coaching team.

The under 15 squad won the Clare Blitz held in Ennis on Saturday. Well done to players, Pat Martin and his coaching team.

Best of luck to Dublin's Stephanie Carthy (Naomh Mearnog) who represents Dublin in the All-Ireland Poc Fada competition over the Cooley Mountains on Saturday.

Round 2 of Top 4 / Bottom 4 Play-off schedule for the Adult Leagues Divisions 3, 4, 5 & 6 takes place on Tuesday 31 July and Thursday 12 August@ 7pm. Check dublincamoige.ie for details of these fixtures.

Summer Cup - Finalists Erin's Isle are awaiting the winners of Naomh Brid and Lucan Sarsfields.

The successes of our teams at intercounty level at the weekend should convince everyone to purchase their ticket for the Dublin Camogie Fundraising Draw for the Development of Camogie in Dublin!
