GAA president John Horan today turned the sod on the site of the proposed new Louth GAA stadium in Dundalk.
The long-awaited stadium will be developed on a 14-acre site on the Inner Relief Road at an estimated cost of €12million. It will have a capacity of just over 14,000 and will boast some of the best facilities in the country.
Louth GAA recently held the launch of the Wee County Double House Draw, all proceeds of which will go towards the development of the new stadium.
