December 10, 2019

The ball presented to the Woods' family was signed by Dublin's five-in-a-row winning team

Dublin GAA has presented a signed football by the five-in-a-row All-Ireland SFC winning team to the family of the late Graeme Woods.

Graeme died in February of this year at just 40 years of age after his battle with cancer and had been a huge GAA enthusiast all his life, winning honours as defender with his club St Pellegrine’s.

He had been well-known from working in the Dame Tavern in the city centre, along with his brother and father.

The signed ball presented to the Woods family was framed with the following engraved underneath:

“In memory of Graeme Woods – A great husband, father, son, brother, friend and Dub.”
