The future of Wicklow manager John Evans is set to be sorted this week.
A county board meeting was held on Tuesday evening to discuss the Kerry native’s future as his two-year term has come to an end.
The former Roscommon manager has the option of a third year, but the Wicklow People reports that he had not made a decision regarding his future.
Wicklow had a poor NFL campaign, while they did put in a decent performance against Kildare in the Leinster SFC, they were subsequently beaten by Leitrim in the qualifiers.
There is a general concern of the lack of progress made by the county during Evan’s term and the county board may opt for a change.
