Wexford’s Diarmuid O’Keeffe is hoping to finish the 2019 campaign on a high as he is set to go travelling later in the year.

O’Keeffe would love to have an All-Ireland SHC medal to go along with the Leinster SHC medal won earlier in the year, in his back pocket heading off.

This has been the best year in the St Anne’s clubman’s eight year term with the Wexford senior hurlers.

In September, the 27-year-old is set to go travelling around south-east Asia and Australia for a number of months as he takes a career break.

However, he has the no small matter of an All-Ireland SHC semi-final to look forward to this Sunday as Wexford take on Tipperary in Croke Park.
