Sunday week’s Munster senior hurling championship final between Limerick and Tipperary is set to see a full house at the LIT Gaelic Grounds with the public sale of tickets now sold out.
The Limerick venue has a capacity of 44,000 and the remaining tickets on sale for the eagerly-awaited southern province decider are unlikely to be returned by the counties’ clubs.
Last Sunday saw Tipp defeating their neighbouring All-Ireland champions on a 1-22 to 0-21 score-line at Semple Stadium.
Throw-in time for the rematch has been scheduled for and will be preceded by the minor meeting of Limerick and Clare at 11.30am.
