Ballivor are making steady progress in the league

Meath club Ballivor has been the subject of vandalism at their new grounds.

Vandals were caught on camera throwing stones at the window of a mini-digger located on the site of a new development by the club.

The window of the mini digger was smashed, while there was structural damage done to steel work on the club’s astro turf pitch which is not completed yet. The damage could cost thousands of euro to repair.

Much of the work at the grounds has been carried out on a voluntary basis by club members.

The incident happened at the club’s new development on the Mullingar road where there has been ongoing work over the past year and a half.
