Leitrim manager Terry Hyland has revealed that he will give more of his squad game time in this weekend’s FL4 last round clash against Waterford.

With promotion and a place in the FL4 final already guaranteed, Hyland could afford to make nine changes to his starting line up for the clash against fellow finalists Derry last Saturday.

The Oak Leaf County came out on top at Celtic Park as Hyland had a look at other players who hadn’t got much game time, and he revealed to the Leitrim Observer that he will do the same this weekend.

“As we said coming into this game, we did start a lot of the boys to get a look at them and there will be two or three this weekend now too,” said Hyland.

“We just want to get game time for them fellas, because there’s no point carrying lads on a panel if they aren’t going to get game time.”
