Limerick manager John Kiely is in no doubt that his charges need to be at their best when they face Kilkenny at Nowlan Park on Sunday.

The All-Ireland champions head to the home of the Cats this weekend for the latest round of the NHL 1A campaign.

Limerick will be favourites to take the points, but Kiely urged an air of caution when speaking to the Limerick Leader ahead of the game.

“Any time that you go to Nowlan Park to play Kilkenny, you know that you are going to have to be at your best – your attitude and approach are going to have to be extremely honest,” said Kiely.

“They have a fantastic home record in the league so it’s a brilliant opportunity for us to really test the lads again on Sunday and I know the lads are really looking forward to it.”
