Wicklow champions facing two games in 24 hours

The winners of next Saturday's Wicklow SFC final replay between Rathnew and St. Patrick's will have to put the celebrations on hold as they will be in action again the following day in the Leinster club SFC.
The replay will take place in Joule Park, Aughrim at 3pm on Saturday. Less than 24 hours later, the winners will return to Aughrim to face Offaly champions Rhode in the first round of the provincial championship at 1.30pm.
Rathnew and St. Patrick's drew 0-13 to 1-10 eight days ago, but the replay couldn't take place this weekend as Rathnew had a number of players, including former county dual star Leighton Glynn, involved with the Glenealy team which retained their Wicklow SHC title with a 4-10 to 1-12 victory over Carnew Emmetts.
