The Ladies Gaelic Football Association and TG4 are pleased to confirm that Saturday's (August 18) TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Intermediate Football Championship Semi-Final between Sligo and Tyrone will be broadcast exclusively LIVE on the LGFA's Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/LadiesGaelicFootball/
The match coverage from Fr. Tierney Park in Ballyshannon (4pm) will be brought to viewers by the LGFA and championship sponsors TG4.
Ladies Football fans will now have the chance to watch Sligo and Tyrone battle it out in a second successive TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Semi-Final.
Tyrone won by 1-16 to 0-11 last year but Sligo come into this repeat clash with plenty of optimism following their recent quarter-final victory over Wicklow at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.
Tyrone, the 2017 All-Ireland finalists, are current TG4 Ulster champions and have shown ominous form to date this summer.
This is the second time that the LGFA will broadcast a Live TG4 Championship game on Facebook, following on from the huge success that was the senior All-Ireland quarter-final between Ulster rivals Armagh and Donegal.
Sligo and Tyrone will battle it out for the first available slot in the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Final at Croke Park on September 16.
The winners on Saturday will be joined by either Roscommon or Meath, who meet in the second semi-final at Dr. Hyde Park on Saturday, August 25, a game that will be broadcast live by TG4.Tweet
