Tyrone's Peter Harte has echoed the sentiments of his uncle and manager Mickey in that they will not be taking Carlow for granted in Saturday's All-Ireland SFC qualifier.

The Red Hand County travel to the south east where they will take on Carlow at Netwatch Cullen Park in a championship match for the first time ever.

On paper, there is only one winner as Tyrone are overwhelming favourites, but Carlow have already beaten a Division 1 team this year when they overcame Kildare in the Leinster SFC.

Harte, who missed the win over Meath in the last round due to suspension, returns to the side for this clash and he stressed to the Ulster Herald that the focus was just on trying to get the job done.

"It's do or die and it's the same for both teams," said Harte. "We know that if we don't perform we will be in trouble as Carlow have shown that they are good enough to beat anybody on their day.

"We want to stay in this championship, stay in the race and it's just about us preparing well this week and come Saturday we'll be ready to go."
