Rory Gallagher was, understandably, very proud of his players following this evening's 0-12 to 0-7 Ulster SFC quarter-final victory over a fancied Armagh side.

"Delighted, great heart, great work-rate… a lot of quality," he remarked to BBC Sport Northern Ireland shortly after the final whistle.

"I thought we were by a good stretch the better team. We felt we had a great chance of winning the game and we're delighted we did."

The Ernesiders' defence limited the Orchard County to just seven points during the course of the contest.

"We've worked hard on both sides of our game all year.

"We knew that Armagh over the last year or two probably like to play a traditional kicking game and I thought we defended really well."
