Wexford manager Davy Fitzgerald is in no doubt that every game in the new look Leinster SHC is going to be a tough match.

The Model County are the last side in the provincial campaign to play, but they are now out four weekends in a row, starting with Sunday's home clash against Dublin.

And Fitzgerald is confident that the Dubs will have earmarked this game as one that they can win, so he has stressed to his charges how important it is to get off to a good start.

"Just look at it, we have the reigning provincial and All-Ireland champions coming to Wexford, we have to travel to Kilkenny and Offaly, but for now we will look no further that our opening game with Dublin. Just look at our recent record against Dublin it's not good and people need to realise that," Fitzgerald told the Wexford People.

He added: "We are absolutely trying our hardest. We might qualify in the Leinster championship or we might not. It's going to be a battle, one hell of a battle."
