Tyrone boss Mickey Harte is hoping his side can finish their Allianz League campaign on a high this Sunday when they welcome Kerry to Omagh.

The Red Hands do not have a good record against the Munster giants in recent league meetings between the two and Harte is hoping that they can buck the trend in their last competitive outing before they take on Monaghan in the opening game of their Ulster SFC title defence on May 20th.

"It's a home game for us in Omagh. We haven't beaten Kerry in a long time so we have to be on our best form again," Harte told The Irish News.

"It will be nice to finish off with a win and to go into the Championship on the back of three league wins. That is our ambition but no doubt Kerry will come with good intent as well.

"They are also preparing for their Championship and I'm sure they will have a number of players back who haven't featured much yet this year. I'm expecting tough resistance."

Throw-in for Sunday's Division 1 Round 7 game at Healy Park is at 3pm.
