No further action will be taken against Galway's Adrian Tuohy following his apparent misdemeanour during Sunday's league clash with Limerick.

Eye-watering television replays showed the Tribe defender seemingly prod his hurl into Barry Murphy's groin during the Round Five league encounter in Salthill, which the Treaty won by two points to secure promotion.

As referee Cathal McAllister issued a yellow card following a consultation with his fellow match officials, the incident is deemed to have been dealt with and cannot therefore be revisited.

Tuohy is therefore clear to feature against Wexford in this weekend's league quarter-final.
