Experienced referees Maurice Deegan and David Coldrick have been appointed to this month's All-Ireland senior football championship semi-finals.

Laois whistler Deegan will take charge of Sunday week's encounter between Kerry and Mayo, while Meath man Coldrick officiates the hotly-anticipated clash between champions Dublin and Tyrone on August 27th.

Deegan has refereed three All-Ireland finals, including last October's replay which saw a one-point victory for Dublin over Mayo, and August 20th will mark his fourth championship game this summer.

Coldrick has also called three Sam Maguire Cup deciders during his career, with his last appearance on football's biggest stage coming two years ago when Dublin defeated Kerry with three points to spare at HQ.

He was the man in the middle for Kerry's quarter-final victory over Galway last Sunday week and also reffed the Leinster meeting between Kildare and Laois, as well as the first of this summer's two meetings between Down and Monaghan.
