We had no winner of the lotto jackpot on the 12th August. Numbers 1, 5, 6, 21. We had 5 match 3 Ned Doyle c/o Martina, Jake, Amber, Shane c/o Elaine, Charlie Gavin c/o Darren, Stephen Dunne c/o Cissie, Sean & Belle c/o Sean. At the time of writing the jackpot stands at €12,300. Get your tickets from Doyle's, The Arches, The Village Inn, Rockies, Healy's Mini Market, View hair & beauty, Malone's, Dowling's Butchers and Centra every Friday and Saturday evening. Thanks to everyone who supports our lotto.

The nursery continues every Saturday morning at 11.15 and it's for all kids aged 3 upwards so feel free to bring your little ones up and give it a try.

The club is running a draw for tickets to the All Ireland senior football final. Tickets are €2 each or 3 for €5 and are available from any committee member and at Saturday morning coaching. Lisa Byrne won the two tickets for the hurling final with Mick Hagan winning one ticket (even though he said if his ticket was pulled out we'd probably throw it back in) while Oscar Glynn won 3 months membership for the gym. All tickets bought so far are back into the draw for the football final. Thanks to everyone for buying tickets.

Well done to the 120 kids who had a brilliant weeks fun at the Cul camp. It was another brilliant turn out again this year. A big thanks to all the coaches including our own lads Sam o'Dowd, Ciaran and Sean Coffey.

We had a busy morning on Saturday with a monster blitz on for the under 8 and 10 girls. Teams from An Tochar, Clara, Ashford, AGB, Blessington, Baltinglass, Kilcoole and St. Pats. Well done to everyone involved in a brilliant day and especially to all the players taking part. The under 14 girls had a very impressive win against AGB in the championship last week running out 11-14 to 7-05 winners.

The seniors got another win in the championship against Hollywood on Sunday in Aughrim 1-14 to 1-09. They now play Kiltegan on Saturday at 6.30 in Arklow with top spot in the group up for grabs. A very under strength intermediate team lost to Kilcoole 2-05 to 3-14 in the championship on Friday in Newcastle and are now fixed to play Donard on Sunday at 11.30 in Aughrim. The junior B team kept up their unbeaten year with a big win against Dunlavin on Thursday 3-13 to 0-05 in the championship and now play AGB away on Thursday at 7.15 in their final group match with a quarter final spot already secured. The under 15 team get their championship campaign under way on Wednesday at home to AGB at 7.30. The under 11 red team are away to Bray Emmets on Wednesday at 7 while the greens are also away on Wednesday taking on AGB at 7. The under 13s are away to Aughrim on Monday in the championship at 7.15 while the under 10 boys are away to AGB and the minors start their championship campaign against Tinahely at home with a 7.15 start. Hard luck to Ross Quinn, Eoin Doyle, Ewan Culbert and the rest of the county under 16 team who lost to Laois on Saturday in the Gerry Reilly shield final in Meath.

The club wishes Dunlavin player Darragh Figgis a speedy recovery who picked up a nasty leg injury in the junior B match on Thursday. Darragh and the Dunlavin club have been in contact thanking everyone who helped out with him on the night. Hopefully Darragh will be fit and well soon.
