The Late John Murphy
The death of John Murphy of Blessington saddened everyone in West Wicklow that knew him.
John was a former player and secretary of the Blessington GAA Club and worked tirelessly for the promotion of the game in the town.
He married Eileen Walshe from Donard, a lady who played a major role in her home club and was one of the researchers who produced the Club History in centenary year.
To his wife and daughter Emma, his mother Phyllis, brother Declan and extended family we extend our sympathy.
