Blessington club notes

March 27, 2017

Blessington Seniors - Rathnew 1:07 - Blessington 1:09. Blessington got their second league victory of the year on Fri 24 Mar in a tight game in Rathnew. Both teams made plenty of errors in what was a good league game.  Blessington trailed 1:02 to 0:3 at the break and for long periods of the second half if appears that Rathnew would win. However, a 1:03 finish in the final 5 minutes ensured a two points victory for Blessington.  We would like to thank Rathnew GAA for their hospitality and food which was most welcome late on a Friday night. We look forward to returning the compliment. The squad for the game: S. Kitt, B. Murphy, M.McLoughlin, J . Gilligan, S. Bohan, C. McGorman, K.Hanlon, KJ Rogers, D.Boothman, C. Geraghty (0:1), M.
