The death of Bill Keogh of Coolmoney Donard took place on Tuesday after a lengthy illness. 'Big Bill' as he was known to one and all owned the local sawmill and was a good supporter of the GAA. He was the donor of the Keogh Cup back in the mid 1970s. His remains were removed to Davidstown for prayers on Thursday evening and burial took place to Leitrim cemetery in the heart of Imall on Friday.
