The death has occurred of William (Willie) Cuffe, Wicklow on Thursday last. Willie was one of the finest footballers of his day and had a long playing career with club and county.

He will be best remembered as a member of the great three in a row St Pat's team. The guard of honour organised by the club at his funeral was made up of playing colleagues, members of the present team and officers of the club and county. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 am followed by interment in Rathnew cemetery.

Our sympathy to his brothers Sean and Maurice, sisters Anna May Gill, Hannah Ferguson, Patricia Colohan, Elizabeth Kinsella and Sarah Cuffe, extended family and GAA friends. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew cemetery.
