The Late Miley Byrne

The death took place of Myles 'Miley' Byrne, Killaclorhan, Aughrim on January 19 at St. Vincents Hospital.
Miley passed away at the age of 64 following a long illness. The community of Aughrim and Annacurra was deeply saddened by his death.
He was employed at the local sawmill, Woodfab, was great friend to all and described as a quiet and friendly man who lived life to the full.
Miley was a keen sports fan and a great supporter of Co. Wicklow football team and Annacurra football club on a local scale.
The members of Annacurra GAA club formed a guard of honour at his funeral as a mark of respect.
Mylie was an avid card player who enjoyed a game at Annacurra Community Centre from time to where he met many friends.
Miley's death will be regretted across a wide community. A large crowd was present at his funeral mass at St. Brigid's Church, Annacurra on January 21.
Mass was celebrated by Fr. James Hamell P.P. with burial afterwards in Annacurra Cemetery.
Miley is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of friends.
