Dalton to be appointed Wicklow minor football boss

Paddy Dalton is set to be appointed as the new Wicklow minor football manager.
The Coolkenno clubman, who represented the Garden County seniors between 2002 and 2015, is being lined up as a replacement for Kevin O'Brien after the Baltinglass native stepped up to the U20 role last month.
Dalton has coached next year's U17 crop since 2015 as part of the Garden County Academy and previously served as a county minor, U21 and senior selector.
The 2007 Tommy Murphy Cup winner's name will be put forward for ratification at the next county board meeting in January.
