U12’s - U12 girls blue team claimed the league cup in Bray. They have been unbeaten for the whole year. This is an amazing team with super performances from every one of the girls. On a score line of 3-20 to 0-02 points, we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Led by captain fantastic Erin McMahon. POTM was Emily Cully who played her heart out. Well done to all the girls. Super proud coaches as always.

U8’s - Well done to our U8 Girls who travelled to St Patrick’s GAA in Wicklow Town on Sat 31 Aug. It was a great blitz. 3 matches with one match testing our girls. But Blesso were on fire. They stormed out that second half. Unbelievable stuff. Thank you to the parents for making the effort, it’s a bit of a journey but look how the girls enjoyed it! Really enjoyable morning of football for all.

U17’s – Blessington GAA Minors were out on Mon 26 Aug v St Nicholas in the first match of the Championship. The lads put in a lot of hard work and effort on a glorious evening in Donard. In the end the match ended level Blessington 2-08 St Nicks 0-14. They were unlucky not come out with a win. Next game Rd 2 on Mon 9 Sep at home v Baltinglass at 6.45pm.

U15’s – Blessington GAA U15 are away V St Pats in Round 4 of Championship on Wednesday 3 Sep at 6:45pm. Training on Friday at 7pm. On Saturday 6 Sept the lads are going kayaking in Russborough ahead of the final couple of championship games. Well done to the U15 Wicklow hurlers Austin Brennan, Sam Gough, Conor Richardson and Adam Williamson on their All Ireland win.

U13’s – U13 Blue squad played Div 1 Round 1 of Championship last night away to Eire Og. Lads started very well and created great chances but unfortunately didn't finish. We were unlucky with some chances coming off posts and cross bar, so bit of luck wasn't with us. We were two points down at half time and we had a good half time chat. The lads knew we still had a lot to do in the second half. Unfortunately, Eire Og struck first with a goal straight from throw in. But the lads didn't drop their heads and they lifted their game. We finished some great moves with scores. We closed the gap to 3 points but just couldn't finish chances we worked hard to create. We came away losing 4.07 to 2.07 but lads played immense throughout and that's all we ever ask of our players. Hard luck lads and heads up and we move on. U13’s Div 1A at home v St Pats on Mon 9 Sep at 6.45pm.

U13’s - Div 3 away v Eire Og in Laragh on Mon 9 Sep at 6.45pm.

U12’s – U12 NKL lads played Naas on Sat 31 Aug at home in a rescheduled game from last term. Naas fielded a strong team and our lads started strong and took the lead 3.04 to 1.04 at halftime. Second half we lost a bit of control in the game for reasons we discussed after game and we could then have perhaps won game. But the lads do what they do best work hard to the end and game finished in a draw 4.09 each. Well done lads. NKL at home v Cappagh on Sat 7 Sep at 4.30pm.
