Speedy recovery to Anto McLoughlin who injured his shoulder during the game and was brought to hospital.

County Ladies – Hard luck to the ladies who lost out to Roscommon away on Sat 2 Feb.

Seniors – Our senior team had a friendly game on Sun 3 Feb at home v Round Towers Clondalkin. It was good to get the lads together for a game in preparation for the league next week. We started a bit slow with some lads been tried out in new positions and got into the flow soon enough. Four of the junior squad made their debut today and did well. Exciting year ahead with this panel of players.  FT Blessington 2-10 Round Towers 3-05.  First match of the year is away v Tinahely at 3pm on Sat 9 Feb. Blessington have been drawn in Group 2 of the Championship 2019 alongside St Patrick’s, Eire Og, Avondale, Baltinglass and Bray.

Junior A – Blessington will now play Junior A in 2019 and have been drawn alongside Lacken/Kilbride, Shillelagh/Coolboy, Hollywood, Valleymount and Aughrim in Group 1.

Senior Ladies – The ladies had a big win over Sarsfields in a challenge on Sun 3 Feb. Both teams enjoyed the run out ahead of playing in the Paidi Ó’Se tournament on the weekend 15 – 17 Feb.

U14 girls – The girls have been busy with challenge games the last few weekends with fine performances and results against Kilmacud Crokes and St Laurence’s. Next upcoming game v Naas at home on Sat 9 Feb 3pm.

U12 girls – The girls started back training on 2 Feb and what a super turnout. Here’s to another successful season for this super bunch of girls.
