After the end of a successful season for the senior football team, the players and management would like to take the opportunity to thank their sponsors for their support and generosity during the year.  It was very much appreciated and helped play a part in the team winning both the championship and league cup.  So a big thank you to the following:

- Canice Hanley of Wicklow Tyres who are the main sponsor of the team;

- Aine & Niall of Fitzpatrick’s Bar;

- Willie Doyle of Flannery's Funeral Homes;

- Tommy Kelly of Tommy Kelly Couriers;

- Niall McCrea of McCrea's Funeral Home; and

- Eugene Dooley of Dooley Poynton Auctioneers.

Many thanks to our local Gallaghers SuperValu who recently sponsored 150 footballs to the club. We will put them to good use and have been able to give a quantity out to local national schools in the town. Don't forget to support our sponsors # Supervalu.

Congratulations to Club Legend Maura O’Brien who celebrated a special birthday recently from all in St Patrick’s GAA.

Hard luck to all involved with DCW Ladies Senior football. In the first semi-final of the Girls Senior football A in Carnew on Thursday 6th December Coláiste Bhríde Carnew hosted Dominican College Wicklow. Dominican had the advantage of wind and slope in the first half but Coláiste Bhríde led by 1-9 to 1-7 at half time. The Carnew school had an edge in point scoring and went on to a deserved 3-17 to 3-9 win. It was an excellent fast flowing game with top class players on both teams. Well done to both teams.
