The lads chalked up another championship win last weekend when they defeated Ashford on a scoreline 1-11 to 3pts. We couldn't break down a resolute Ashford defence in the first half, not helped by running into cul-De-sac's and wayway passes. The second half was somewhat better. We chalked up 1-7 and kept Ashford scoreless. Definitely things to work on, but good to keep the momentum going before we face Donard in the next round the week after next. There was no lotto jackpot winner from 16. 21. 22. 24 last week and only one match 3 winner - Catherine Harper. Finally the club would like to thank the Carthy/Dornan family for their kind donation to the juveniles  last weekend. Much appreciated.
