Arklow Geraldine Ballymoney's GAA club notes

June 11, 2018

AGBs U7 and U9 Boys were away in Newcaslte in glorious sunshine on Friday evening, at a Blitz.  A great evening of football was had with an excellent display from all teams involved. Well done to all the boys.

A great game of football was had by AGBs Senior Ladies on Friday evening at home in Pearses Park in the sunshine against Tinahely.  This was a tough match for the girls but one that set them through their paces, although the score didn't reflect their effort at the final whistle.  The ladies then went to Tinahely on Sunday morning and had a great morning of football and fun participating in the Ellen Kinch Memiorial Cup.

There is plenty of football action ahead this week with matches for The U16 Ladies who play Tinahely on Tuesday at home at 7pm, the U14 Girls travel to Blessington on Tuesday, the Senior Men play in the League Play-off at home in Pearses Park on Wednesday evening against Tinahely, the Junior B Men travel to Avondale on Thursday, The U11 Boys play Bray at home on Wednesday in Pearse Park juvenile pitch, while the other U11 Boys travel to Bray to play them. The U13 Boys play at home in Ballymoney on Thursday evening against Kilcoole, while the other U13

Well done to Ciáran Hyland and Darragh Fitzgerald and team on an excellent performance with Wicklow on Saturday against Cavan. Best wishes to our club players out this coming week: to our players on the County U20 Pannel in action on Monday night and our players on the County Minor Panel in action on Wednesday night.
