Ballymanus officially open new pitch
April 25, 2018The official opening of the Ballymanus GFC grounds took place last weekend.
GAA President John Horan attended the official opening along with other GAA dignitaries, while Wicklow took on Limerick in a senior football challenge.
Horan congratulated the club as a whole on what can only be described as excellent facilities.
"It's a credit to each and every one of you that ye have arrived here. It is about getting a baton and passing it on to the next generation. It was great to see the young people playing here earlier.
"It's great to see so many young people wearing the Ballymanus colours. We're carrying it on and hoping to give it to the next generation in a better condition than ye got it."
