Not one Wexford club has nominated anybody for the position of senior football manager.

Following the decision of David Power to step down from the position, the Wexford County Board were seeking nominations to fill the role.

A request was sent out to all clubs in the county urging them to have a say on the matter and propose candidates.

Remarkably, none of the clubs in the county replied to the request, leaving the county board with the task of finding nominations.

This is sure to slow the process of finding a new manager down and the matter could drag on for some time.
