Jack Guiney will make his first competitive appearance for Wexford since last June when they meet Limerick in the Allianz League Division 1B opening round tomorrow evening.

Guiney was dropped from the Model County squad after their 2015 Leinster quarter-final win over Westmeath due to disciplinary reasons but manager Liam Dunne recalled the Rathnure man at the end of the year.

Guiney's DIT team mate Conor McDonald (broken thumb), along with Paul Morris (hamstring), Diarmuid O'Keeffe (concussion) and Shane Tomkins (calf muscle) all miss out on the Gaelic Grounds clash.

Ian Byrne recovers from injury to take his place at left half-forward, while Podge Doran is named on the bench after missing the 1-22 to 1-12 Walsh Cup final defeat to Dublin.

Wexford (NHL v Limerick): Mark Fanning; Liam Ryan, Matthew O'Hanlon, James Breen; Andrew Kenny, Andrew Shore, Paudie Foley; Lee Chin, Harry Kehoe; Liam Og McGovern, Aidan Nolan, Ian Byrne; Cathal Dunbar, Jack Guiney, David Dunne.

Subs: Conor O'Leary, Eoin Conroy, Shaun Murphy, Eoin Moore, Jack O'Connor, Podge Doran, Joe O'Connor, Aaron Maddock.
