Wexford's Liam Og McGovern admits that he is just concentrating on his recovery and not when he will return from injury.

The talented dual star had operations on both his hips last February and is currently recuperating, but there is no time frame on when he will return to action.

The St Anne's clubman admitted to the Wexford People that a return to the county scene this year is doubtful at the moment.

"It's probably unlikely that I'll be around for the inter-county scene this year. I will give it another few weeks before I finally make up my mind, but I am hopeful more than confident," he said.

"Realistically I've spoken with players from Wexford and outside the county and it takes three and a half months following the operation to recuperate." Tweet
