Sinnott, Breda

Family and sport were Breda's main passions

Mrs. Breda Sinnott (nee Furlong) of 55 Lakelands, Bridgetown who died recently, is sadly missed by her family, friends and neighbours. Breda (63) passed away on April 28 following a short illness. She is survived by her husband Billy (Bliser); her son Patrick; daughter Sue; daughter-in-law Gillian; son-in-law John; her grandchildren Haley, Ryan, Ethan and Calleigh; her sisters Maureen and Lil; her brothers Peter and John and her extended family. Breda loved her family and took great pleasure from spending time with her four grandchildren in particular.

She enjoyed sport especially GAA and soccer and was seen regularly on the sidelines of pitches across Wexford cheering on her local teams. She was a great follower of the Irish soccer team and made the journey to Lansdowne Road many times to watch her heroes play. For many years, Breda ensured that the All Blacks, Kilmore United and Kilmore GAA Club players looked their best on match days by looking after their jerseys and gear. Another of Breda's favourite pastimes was reading and she was very well-read. Her family would like to thank everyone who visited her during her short illness, especially relatives who provided so much support in the final two weeks. They extended thanks to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph's and St. Bridget's wards in Wexford General Hospital and also to Dr. Colm Quigley ad his team, the palliative care staff, Fr. Quinn, Fr. Doyle and Fr. O'Connor.
