High profile rugby referee Nigel Owens has wished his namesake, James Owens, the best of luck for this year's All-Ireland SHC final.
The GAA yesterday announced that Owen has been appointed to take charge of his third Liam MacCarthy Cup decider on Sunday week which will see arch rivals Kilkenny and Tipperary lock horns.
The Wexford man's rugby counterpart was impressed with what he witnessed last year when Limerick ended a long wait for All-Ireland glory and he took to twitter last night to reveal that they are not related!
