Leinster MHC: Wexford and Dublin finish all square; Kilkenny, Kildare, Laois and Carlow secure wins

Wexford came from behind to earn a share of the spoils against visitors Dublin at Bellefield today.
A stirring second-half performance from the Model County saw them erase an eight-point half-time deficit and the scoreboard read Wexford 2-17, Dublin 3-14 at the final whistle.
David Cantwell netted a late goal for James Shiels’ charges before the impressive AJ Redmond sent over the equalising point via a long range free.
Goals from Brendan Scanlon and Ben McSweeney were instrumental as the team in sky blue built up a 2-10 to 0-8 advantage by the halfway stage.
It looked to be curtains for the home side when Charlie Keher pounced for Dublin’s third green flag but Josh Shiel had other ideas and he pulled a goal back for the Model County with six minutes left on the clock.
The momentum was very much with Wexford at this stage and their late scoring burst was rewarded with a point.
Kilkenny experienced little difficulty in disposing of Offaly for their third win on the trot at Nowlan Park this evening.
The young Cats preserved their 100% win record with a commanding 5-29 to 1-9 defeat of the Faithful County.
The hosts dominated proceedings throughout and led by 3-11 to 1-4 at the halfway stage and refused to ease their foot off the pedal after the restart.
Kildare, meanwhile, overcame Westmeath by six points in their Tier 2 clash.
The Lilywhites came away from TEG Cusack Park with a 1-19 to 2-10 victory under their belts.
The first-half finished with the visitors 1-12 to 2-2 to the good.
Laois made it three wins from as many outings when coasting to a 24 point (6-20 to 0-14) win over Antrim in their Tier 2 encounter at Lawless Memorial Park, Swords
David Dooley (2), Alan Kirwan, Paraic Rafter, Cathal O’Shaughnessy and DJ Callaghan all found the back of the Antrim net.
The game was effectively over as a contest at the halfway stage when the Enda Lyons managed O’Moore County led by 3-12 to 0-6.
In Tier 3, Carlow advanced to the knock-out stage of the competition courtesy of a comprehensive 6-20 to 0-5 success over Down in the first game of the Swords double-header.
As the scoreline suggests, it was one-way traffic throughout and the Barrowsiders enjoyed the luxury of a 2-11 to 0-1 interval advantage.
