Wexford manager Paul McLoughlin has been pleased with the preparations for the Leinster SFC over the last few weeks.
Just last month, McLoughlin lamented over the lack of time he has had with his squad since the end of the National League.
And even though he would have loved to have more time to prepare the squad for this weekend’s clash against Louth, McLoughlin feels that they have worked well in the last few weeks.
“There has been a very positive approach to training over the past two weeks. We were blessed in that we had no players returning from four weeks of club championship with injuries, so we will be able to pick from a full squad. Mark O’Neill has a slight hamstring problem but should be available,” said McLoughlin.
“While we would have liked more time for preparation, everything went well, and we are quite happy. The lads have settled in well with Colin Kelly and he has brought that something extra to the set-up. It is proving a huge plus.”
