Galway boss Micheal Donoghue has called on Leinster GAA to fix their Walsh Cup final against Wexford next weekend at a neutral venue.

The Model County are due to have home advantage for the decider and, speaking to RTE Sport following today’s hard-earned semi-final victory over Dublin, Donoghue said: “I'd be hoping that's not a foregone conclusion, that we get a neutral venue.

“Hopefully Leinster Council will look at that for us over the coming week because every team is at the same stage of preparation

“It's a big commitment to expect us to go down to Wexford next Sunday.”
