A former Wexford GAA dual player was part of the USA rugby side that lined out against Ireland in last Saturday’s test at the Aviva.

Dylan Fawsitt, who is a former St Martin’s GAA club dual player, came on as a 44th minute substitute for the Eagles in their 57-14 defeat to Ireland.

A promising hurler and footballer, Fawsitt also excelled at rugby and when he went to the U.S to further his studies in 2014, he continued his rugby career, lining out with a number of sides.

The 28-year-old made his debut with the USA Eagles on February 24, this year, starting in their 45–16 victory over Brazil in the 2018 Americas Rugby Championship. He scored his first try for the Eagles in their 61–19 victory over Uruguay last March.
