The Wexford County Board have announced that they have appointed a new secretary.

Wexford town native Gearoid Devitt is an employee of Croke Park and has held a number of positions at GAA headquarters.

Devitt will begin his role on December 3rd and he brings a wealth of administrative experience to the role, despite still being young.

Replacing Margaret Doyle who is retiring, Devitt has been the GAA’s Player Welfare Officer since April 2015, while he also co-ordinated the first ever GAA Player Conference earlier this year.
