Dublin 1-15

Wexford 0-11

Dublin made it three wins from three at Wexford's expense in Innovate Wexford Park to top Group 1 and qualify directly for the Leinster U20FC semi-finals.

A Ross McGarry goal 13 minutes from the end proved decisive as Tom Gray's charges came from three points down at half-time to maintain winning ways. Westmeath's win over Longford in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, coupled with this defeat means Wexford can't progress to the knockout stages.

With former Republic of Ireland striker Kevin Doyle part of their management set-up, the hosts produced an excellent first half performance to lead 0-8 to 0-5 at half-time. Goalkeeper Ivan Meegan scored from both a long-range free and from play as they held the upperhand at the change of ends.

But Dublin resumed with points from Sean Farrelly and Cormac Howley to take a 0-9 to 0-8 lead within seven minutes of the restart. McGarry opted for a point from a penalty in the 42nd minute before his goal five minutes later gave the visitors a three-point cushion, 1-10 to 0-10.

Impressive substitute Tom Keane brought his tally for the afternoon to 0-4 as the Dubs pulled clear in the closing stages.
