Wexford joint-captain Matthew O'Hanlon is expected to be fit for the Leinster SHC round robin clash against Dublin.

O'Hanlon is currently sidelined with a knee injury and has missed his club St James' opening two senior football championship matches.

The Wexford defender revealed that he needs a few weeks rest, but added that he should be ok for the opening round of the provincial championship.

Speaking to the Wexford People he said: "I have a medial knee ligament problem sustained in the Kilkenny game. This will keep me out for all of our club championship games but I should be fine for the first round of the Leinster championship."

Wexford take on Dublin on Sunday May 20th and manager Davy Fitzgerald has a few injury concerns ahead of the game.

David Dunne, Jack Guiney, Shane Tomkins and Eoin Moore must all prove their fitness in the coming weeks if they are to feature against the Dubs.
