Wexford manager Paul McLoughlin must be scratching his head in frustration as he deals with more players leaving the squad.

From the side that lost to Monaghan in the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers earlier this year, six of them have made themselves unavailable for the 2018 campaign.

Goalkeeper Shane Roche announced his retirement over the weekend, while forward Kevin O'Grady has opted to go travelling for a year. This is added to the fact that PJ Banville has retired, Adrian Flynn is a long-term injury absentee, while Colm Kehoe, Jake Firman and Michael O'Regan have all thrown in their lot with the county's hurlers.

McLoughlin must be concerned over Ciaran Lyng who is considering his inter-county future at the moment.
