FIT4LIFE

FIT4LIFE is on every Monday and Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

This is for all levels of fitness and is run under the guidance of athletics coach Matt Glennon and Mary Walsh.

 

Walking Club

A walking club has now started on our walking track every Tuesday evening at 7.30pm.

Everyone welcome.

Results from the past week

Well done to the u 16's who had a great start to their championship campaign with a win over Mullingar Shamrocks last Monday evening. Final score was 2-17 to 7 points.

Well done to the u 11's who bet The Downs last Monday evening on a score line of 1-07 to 1-03.

Well done to the u10's who competed in a home blitz last Tuesday evening.

Well done to the u12's who had a superb win over Lilliput Gaels last Tuesday evening. Final score was 6-14 to 2-01.

U16 Division 1 League Final

On Friday evening our 16's took on The Downs in the division 1 league final. It was a good game of football between the two rival teams. Unfortunately after a tough game with some fine display of skills we were just beaten by 2 points. Final score was 2-09 to 1-10. Team on the day:

Senior Championship off to a great start

Well done to the senior team who kicked off their championship campaign with a great victory over Rosemount last Saturday evening. It was a great a game of football and team work really prevailed on the evening.

Fixtures for the coming week

The minors play The Downs in the first round of championship on Wednesday evening 26th of July in the Downs at 7pm.

The seniors play Maryland in the second round of championship on Sunday evening 30th of July in Cusack Park at 5.30pm

U16's play Milltownpass in the second round of championship on Monday evening 31st of July in Milltownpass at 7pm

Lotto

The lotto draw numbers from Monday 17th of July were 1,19,20,30. There was no jacket pot winner. Match 3 winners were T.N.A c/o jag, Larry Giles and Brendan Ennis. Well done to them they won €70 each.
