U12 League
Moate 3-7 Kilbeggan/St Josephs 0-4
On Friday evening last we played host to Kilbeggan / St Josephs in Hogan park.
Both teams started well with plenty of good interplay from both sides. As the half went on slowly but surely we started to take control and after ten minutes we were 1-3 up. We kept up the good work for the remainder of the half and at half time the score was 3-5 to Moate with Kilbeggan / St Josephs still to register. Kilbeggan started well in the second half and had 2 pts on the scoreboard in the first five minutes. Both teams played well with some fine displays in and around the middle of the park. Kilbeggan scored 2 more fine points but these we matched by 2 fine scores by our lads.
