Mullingar Shamrocks are running a First Aid course at their clubhouse on Wed 29th May and Wed 5th June for coaches. They have generously offered Plunketts hurling and camogie coaches slots for those interested in attending. St Oliver Plunketts strongly recommend our coaches, adult club members and parents to attend this course. It could save someones life! If you are interested, please text Mark on 086 8197607 before the 29th of May.

CBS in final:
St Oliver Plunketts wish CBS the very best of luck as they take on Taughmon in next weeks Cumman na mBunscoil Div 2 hurling final in Cusack Park. Seán Ó Máirtín has done a great job with this bunch of players and a lot of them play at Plunketts - Jamie Moody, Shane Murtagh, Jamie Kindregan, Jordan Byrne, Robbie Greville, Rhys Poynton & Sean Mahon. We wish the lads well. Also the club sends best wishes to St Colmchilles Gainstown, who are also competing in the football final. The Gainstown team have a lot of our club members playing for them as well including Trevor Keena, Michael McCormack, Cian Fox, Ronan McHugh, Conor Lynch and Cormac Hynes. Good luck to all players next week. (Apologies if we've left any names out!)

World Record Attempt:
Next week at our Registration day on May 26th, we are going to try and attempt a world record for the biggest attendance ever at an U12 hurling match. We'd ask everyone to come down and support our lads as they take on Brownstown at 2pm. Please bring your green and white colours and your flags with you....Of course, not forgetting our other teams either - U6, U8, U10 and U14 are all playing matches and we need as much support as we can get for all the lads..See our schedule for the game times.
